Call for Special Sessions
The 15th International Conference on Quality of Multimedia Experience will be held from June 20th to 22nd, 2023 in Ghent, Belgium. It will bring together leading experts from academia and industry to present and discuss current and future research on multimedia quality, Quality of Experience (QoE) and user experience (UX). This way, it will contribute to excellence in developing multimedia technology, towards user well-being, and it will foster the exchange between multidisciplinary communities. The theme is :Â
Towards sustainable and inclusive multimedia experiences
Special Session proposals are solicited in the scope of topics that are aligned with the conference (listed below) or are related to emerging topics within the broader sphere of QoE.

Submission procedure
Special Session proposals should be submitted through EDAS. The proposal should provide the following information: title, motivation and objectives, topics of interest, information of tentative papers (both long and short papers are possible), contact information for the special session organizers, organizers’ short biographies, and a list of potential reviewers capable of reviewing papers submitted to the special session. Proposals will be evaluated based on topic novelty and impact, proposed list of contributed papers, and organizing committee qualifications (it is encouraged to involve early-stage researchers on it). Selected Special Sessions will have the possibility to propose a Special Issue in the Quality and User Experience journal. Submissions to approved Special Sessions will undergo the same reviewing process as regular papers and are expected to meet the same quality standards.Â
