Guided Boat trip from De Krook to Oude Vismijn

Departure from the dock at De Krook, we will take a guided boat trip of 40 minutes along the “Lys” and the “Lieve” to the dock of the Oude Vismijn (The old fishmarket).

The welcome reception will take place at the Oude Vismijn (the old fish market). The Old Fish Market is located at the confluence of the Lieve canal and the river Lys. Fishmongers sold their goods here from the late Middle Ages until the 1960s. Opposite the Castle of the Counts lies the monumental gateway to the Old Fish Market, where Neptune keeps watch over the Scheldt (male) and the Lys (female).
